Get enough sleep

Getting enough good night time sleep is known to have an affect on all body systems. This includes the ability to learn and retain new information. It also promotes mood wellness. If you can’t get enough sleep we recommend a cat nap. This nap should be taken as early in the day as is possible. What I mean by enough is, enough to wake up refreshed and feeling awake. If you get tired during the day, sleep, even a few minutes helps. If you can’t sleep because perhaps you are at work or school, meditation, or daydreaming for a few minutes will help with the tired feeling. It’s why those that can’t help daydreaming do it. You naturally know that you need a break from what you are doing or thinking, therefore you are compelled to turn inward.

Sleep is natural and no living thing is exempt

If you get tired in the middle of the day ask yourself what you are doing or thinking at the point that you are tired. It usually indicates a negative thought or situation is upon you or pending. When I say negative, it can be anything that produces boredom, sadness, loneliness, depreciation, etc… I don’t necessarily mean negative in a harsh way. Negativity can be subtle, and go relatively unnoticed by the person yawning. This is aside the fact that sometimes your body just wants a shot of oxygen, so you comply. Most autonomic functions of the body are directed by the inner self and they know what they’re doing. So, if you are tired sleep if you can. Be like the cat, they’re smart enough to know when to sleep.
